What we collect?
- We collect the following information and expect it to be honest and correct information:
- Your scores on brands. A score is a number in between 0 and 10.
- The score reflects how likely it is you will (or will not) recommend a brand.
- Your experience with these brands
- Your purchase intention of the brands to which you gave a score
- The reviews you wrote on the brands you gave a score.
- Your username, your e-mail address, name, age, gender and mobile phone, postcode and maybe others for as far as you have shared these with us.
- We might also ask every now and then your general preferences and other non-brand related interests.
- Other information relevant to the surveys we run and/or offers and/or requests that might come to you from brands through Holaba.
What we do with the information we gather?
We collect this information since our clients (i.e. brands, media, retailers) love to know how likely it is that you would recommend them - and/or their competitors- to your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. At the same time they want to know your experience with their brand and your purchase intentions. These data are important for them to continuously improve their product/service package in general and some aspects in particular since the scores you give can be related to product quality, taste, price, after sales service, marketing.
For our clients your scores are a continuous measurement system. If the majority of the Holaba-users start more and more recommending a given brand, then that’s a signal that that brand would probably progress. The more positive buzz experienced users spread in their environment the more they will positively influence that environment.
Since we gather the information and sell access to parts of the anonymized and grouped data to our clients we are also the gatekeeper between you and them.
For diverse reasons brands on which you gave a score might want to contact you. Their request will be transferred to you by us mainly through e-mail. If you don’t want Holaba to reveal your personal details you reply with a refusal and we don’t give that brand access to your personal data. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law.
We will/may use your data
- to periodically invite you to participate in other surveys on or off the Holaba-platform,
- to contact you when you won a prize,
- to remind you to check old scores you have given and/ or maybe to add some reviews
- We may use the information to improve our own service and to customize the website according to your interests.
We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. If you want to stop us to use your personal information for the above mentioned purposes you can at any time email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may also choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information by simply not answering some questions you don’t want to answer or by not taking a survey.
We will keep your data in a secure environment until you decide and alert us to discontinue your activity on the Holaba-platform.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
